2 Miles from the hotel one can enjoy the shops at Perkin's Cove and in downtown Ogunquit. There are numerous antique shops along route one in Wells and Ogunquit. The outlet shops in Kittery are 20 minutes away. L. L. Bean and the outlet shops of Freeport are just an hour away.

Dutch Elm Golf Course - 18 hole course - One of southern Maine's premier golf courses. Treat yourself to championship golf where each hole offers distinct challenge and pleasant scenery. Merriland Farm Par 3 Golf Course - 9 hole course - Merriland Farm is a 200 year old working farm. The course is designed and built on a par 3 golf course among the berryfields. Kennebunk Golf Course - 18 hole Course - The course features wide fairways, numerous bunkers, several water hazards and generous greens. A private club, Webhannet welcomes public play on a limited basis. Tee times are required. Sanford Country Club - 18 hole course - Just a short drive from the coast of Maine, you'll find one of the area's finest golf courses. A semi-private course, Sanford is open to the public and, with four sets of tees, offers a fair challenge to golfers of all skill levels.

Scuba diving is located in the nearby town of York, approximately 10 miles from Ogunquit.
Kayaking
The World Within Sea Kayaking is located on the hotel's property. For $70 a person (2007 Season) one can enjoy a two hour tour of the area. In order to take part, children must be accompanied by an adult, and at least 3'6" and weight 85 pounds.

Airports

Logan International Airport (Boston)
Logan is located 71.8 miles from the hotel. Just a straight shot up on highway I-95 N. Take exit 19 off the Maine turnpike. Take a left turn at the end of the exit ramp, and follow route 109 until it intersects with Route 1. Take a right onto Route 1 and follow Route one for about five miles and the Ogunquit River pLantation will be on your left.
Portland International Jetport
This airport is located 40 miles from our picturesque property. It is a straight shot from the airport to the hotel. There will be signs that direct you towards Gold Star Memorial/I-95 S/Maine Turnpike. Merge onto the highway (I-95 S) and take it to Exit 19. Make a left onto Route 109 and follow it to Route 1 and make a right. Take Route 1 South got approximately 5 miles.

Directions

From the South:
Take 95 North to Exit 7 (the Yorks & Ogunquit). The sign will say "Last Exit Before Toll". Make a right off the ramp. Turn left onto Route 1 North, and go through Ogunquit Village. We are about 1.5 miles on the right.
From the North:
Travelling South on Interstate 95 Take Exit 19 ( Wells/Sanford). Turn left off the ramp onto Route 109 for 1 mile to the junction of Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 South and follow through 4 traffic lights. The Ogunquit River Plantation is located 1/4 of a mile after the 4th light on your left.
